SSNUP project completion: Modernisation of date processing operations in Tunisia

Beni Ghreb is a company that processes biodynamic quality dates providing decent income for 130 producer families (more than 1,650 people) in the Hazoua oasis of Tunisia. In 2022, it benefited from a technical assistance project implemented by SIDI and co-funded by SSNUP (Smallholder Safety Net Upscaling Programme) to acquire a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to replace the current paper-based system.  

The new digital solution unlocked unprecedented efficiency levels for Beni Ghreb’s operations in managing product flows and transmitting information within the company.
