The announcement took place this Thursday, November 15, during the European Microfinance Week in Luxembourg.

Ethiopian Ambassador met ADA

After the SAM’s success, the Ambassador of Ethiopia H.E Teshome Toga Chanaka payed a visit to ADA.

This meeting organized at ADA’s office based in Luxembourg aimed to report and to share the facts and figures of the African Microfinance Week (SAM). The SAM was held in Addis Ababa from October 9th to 13th 2017 and gathered from 600 to 700 microfinance professionals to discuss about the new role of microfinance in developing SME.

Besides its huge success, the SAM paved the way to build new relationship and launch trainings programme for MFI from Ethiopia and neighbor country, in partnership with AEMFi, the local microfinance association. Thus, ADA will strongly increase its operation in capacity building within the next months in Ethiopia.
