What is SAM?
SAM is the African Microfinance Week, known by the French acronym for Semaine africaine de la microfinance, a major event dedicated to the development of financial inclusion in Africa that takes place every two years in a different African country. SAM provides a single platform to discuss inclusive finance challenges on the African continent by bringing together key representatives of the sector, including investors, MFIs, researchers, banks, networks, innovators and governments.
