Young entrepreneurs
In partnership with ADA, the Senegalese incubator Jokkolabs and the microfinance institution U-IMCEC Sénégal support young entrepreneurs with flexible financing and by strengthening their business skills.
27-year old Ndeye Fatou explains how the loan enabled her to purchase a fridge, a cooker and some ingredients to launch a doughnut-making business. The management skills she learned during the programme helped her to make enough profit to pay back the loan early and she is hoping for a second loan to further grow her business.
